Where are you working currently, and what do you do there?

I'm a Data Scientist at Shopify.

Can you tell us a bit about your education and career background?

Before the course at BrainStation, I got a Master’s degree from the University of Grenoble. After graduation, I quit my job at the bank, traveled around the world, and then landed in Canada to change careers.

Why did you choose to study at BrainStation?

I wanted to expand my data skills. I started with the Data Analytics certificate and I recently took the Data Science Certificate Course.

What was the highlight of your learning experience?

My experience was great. The Instructors are very knowledgeable, but they’re also passionate about what they’re doing and that's the best way to share their knowledge and experience.

I also had the opportunity to get to know professionals who were working in different industries with different backgrounds and I really enjoyed that.

What advice would you give professionals considering a BrainStation course or program?

Everyone who wants to achieve a career goal, learn a new skill, or gain more knowledge in a certain field should not be afraid to take the next step.
